REMINDER: Food and drinks are not permitted in the Sanctuary at any time. Please dispose of any beverage cups or snacks in the wastebaskets in the office or library before you enter. (Exceptions may be made if you must bring water for a medical reason.)
Senior Recognition Today!! Our Seniors are John Baggerman, Rachel Andrews and Brittany McCallum. Please join us after worship today for a Salad Luncheon in the Parlor to honor and celebrate these young people.
Today is Pentecost Sunday. If you choose to contribute, please mark your check Pentecost Offering. 40% of the total collected will go to an area agency that works with at-risk children and young people.
Good Sam’s Needs for May 2013: Canned goods (any kind but corn), saltine crackers, men’s tennis shoes (6-13), women’s tennis shoes (6-11), children’s tennis shoes (any size). Men’s jeans waist 30, 32, 34. Pans, electric skillets, microwaves.
Please Pray for Our PNC Committee as they are in the process of looking for our new pastor. The Pastor Nominating Committee members are Jeff Boyd (Elder Moderator), Carol Fields, Grace Nelson, Jerry Noles, Sam Steen.
Garage Sale is June 8th. All proceeds will go to fund the playground. Please call one of the CE members with any donations that you would need picked up. CE members: Anita Harp, Meredith Bagwell, Janice Sackett, Steve Stillwagon and Grace Nelson, Nancy Ruff, and Margaret Williams.
